Chuckers named to Futures Roster

A total of six current and former Chuckers will be wearing Team BC colors this coming weekend at the annual showcase event...
Current Chuckers Noah Or and Ryder Mavis will be with the 14U Baseball BC high performance team at the Northwest Futures Tournament, September 14 and 15, at Edmonds Community College. Both players excelled as Bantam AAA rookies this season, culminating with pick-up invitations, Mavis with Vancouver (at the Westerns), and Or with Cloverdale (earning a Silver Medal at the Nationals).
Four players from the 2012-2013 roster were also selected for the 15U Futures team, including Mitchell Rennie, Logan Newman, Tyler Hoefer and James Hardy. All six players will be joining Chuckers coaches Ryan Klenman and Troy Pennock, who will be coaching at the event.
Since 2005 our program has made it a priority to prepare our players and guide them towards high performance opportunities at showcase events such as the Futures, PNC's, and BC Summer Games. These players represent our program and we're pleased when they are rewarded for their hard work and dedication to the game. Well done guys!
